Since I am the author of this page, I get to say whatever I want about myself.  Born and raised down the tracks in Staples, MN, I have worn many hats in life.  The greatest of all being a husband and a dad.  It’s always been a passion of mine to create something, other than 3 children and household chaos with my forgetfulness and frequent tirades on how our house is such a mess.  Anyway, Roundhouse has become another family to me.  They are, hands down, the greatest people to work with.

Jack has been with ROundhouse since April of ’22 and has become a fixture of the taproom!  He’ll know what you want, almost before you know.  But don’t put him in a box, he can show you his mad coaching skills too in throwing axes!

Mara came to us in September of ’24! She has moved a lot, but boy are we happy she settled in the Brainerd Lakes Area! She loves the outdoors, and when she’s not outdoors she loves drinking a hazy beer or even better she loves when she can do both!

Kari has been with us for a year now, and we’re glad she’s sticking around.  She’s a worker bee with drive and has learned the craft beer scene amazingly well.  She can also flex her axe coaching skills in the Wreck Room!

When Justin isn’t taking care of pets in his other work life, or his kids at home, he’s a smiling presence at Roundhouse.  Justin knows his brews and his throws.  You’ll see him the Wreck Room as well!

Why does Dan get the title Good Cop?  Because that’s his nature.  You can’t have a conversation with Dan and not laugh.  Impossible!  Dan brings years of business experience to the table, as well as great fun and inspiration.  Also from Staples, Dan works tirelessly (well, almost) to keep this train on the right track.  It’s a business after all, but it should be fun.  Dan keeps our priorities straight.  Without him, this train takes another track.

Tim is a coach as well as a server.  He wears several hats, and most of them backwards.  Tim will greet you with a smile and not only make sure you get the right beer, but also help you get a bullseye in the Wreck Room.

Michael puts the yum in yummy!  He’s responsible for our Kitchen, menu and catered events for the Union Station.  He brings a ton of kitchen experience and expertise to our kitchen.  Unfortunately, he’s the reason our waistlines are expanding. 

Madison is one of hte newest members of the Choo Choo Crew!  But don’t let that fool you.  She will make you feel at home and serve you with a smile, something that just comes naturally for her!
